Shine Your Light!

This is one of the first inspirational pictures I made after finding out that I want to go in a more inspirational, positive and creative route in my life's work. I want to do more to show people how much power they really have. Or to show that there's more out there to explore. I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, but I know I'm in for something huge!

Shine your light inspirational graphic

For me to get to this point however, I needed to allow my own light to shine! So I want people to see this and know that they too can allow their own light to shine. All of our magical perspectives, imaginations and what we are capable of is valid. We just shut ourselves down when we listen to all the naysayers and conclude that they are right because we're in "reality". But allowing to have our own voices and views heard, we are letting our own unique light shine! Wherever that light shows you, follow it, because you can't go wrong when you believe in the worthiness of your view, path and soul!

Manifesting Positivity From Negativity

This is a story about how I back into my positive mindset after a rather negative night. It originally was going to be a Facebook status but for some reason it wouldn't load up. Then I got an intuitive feeling to post it on my blog and wherever someone can benefit from it!

----

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I just want to say thank you for everyone's support on my last status! It really made me feel good and even more confident in my change of heart. :) So I want to send a huge thank you to you all! I bet some of you are facing some pretty epic changes as well.

Anyway, last night was emotionally rough since I was a listening ear to another family member's problems which eroded my good and creative mood (among other things that night). I will admit, having to have so much thrown out at me at once left me emotionally rattled, I was actually trembling because it was too much.

Then I had to hear more from another family member which added to my frustration. Which left me dancing on the worried, scared and almost trapped like feeling of "reality". I was pretty much on the verge of tears because I obviously soaked in my family member's crap. That and lately I have been in the position where I'm someone's emotional punching bag. That alone made me very fed up, especially when I'm trying to clear out as much drama as possible. When I sat at my computer, my Life Purpose card deck called out to me and of course I shuffled the cards. The one's that is shown was the one's that came to me.

Dorren Virtue Life purpose deck

Freedom, Artist, Speaker and lastly Builder. The Builder card literally leaped out of the deck and placed itself at the end, so I knew they meant that one haha! In a nut shell, the message was that my "reality" (dream world is a more appropriate word haha) is still my reality. That no matter what I am doing I am "building" the life that I want, and no one or circumstance can take that away from me. I mean it was pretty obvious the artist and speaker cards were referring to my new creative choices and my videos.

I really appreciate the angels always sending me guidance (more like reminders of my dream world) in my rough times, especially in situations like these. And it keeps me on track on what I really want. No one is in control in your life but you, and don't let anyone just come in and try to take that all away, not even yourself.

So I pretty much got my dinner and watched the Victoria's Secret fashion show which was AWESOME on my new 37" flat screen that my dad gifted me btw. I'm not into VS but god this fashion show was just so creative and over the top! A great reminder that I can live my life the way I want to and I'm not bound to anyone's else's ideas of what reality is. Or that I'm some victim of life, an issue I've been overcoming GREATLY in this Fall season. That show really lifted my spirits because the styles were so fun and creative. A lot of people had to come together to make it happen because it was their reality they shared!

This morning I feel almost brand new! I'm working out again and I tried some new manifesting techniques while I worked out! Just a lot of imagining and visualizing. I also spoke positive stuff about myself and my body. It all felt good and my body appreciates it as well! So I'm back in the game and SO READY TO CREATE ONCE MORE!

Moral of the story is that yeah, sometimes we get knocked down. Sometimes people can get under your skin about their issues and problems. It's natural for us sensitive lightworkers to be emotionally drained, rattled, moody and just fucking sick of the bullshit when others are just slamming it on you (without permission at that). It's okay to feel bad but also know that it doesn't take away from what you're doing.

If you're currently trying to build the life that you want, don't let anyone take that attention off of it, even if you do feel bad. Clear it out, cry, tell a caring friend or whatever feels right. But don't beat yourself up over it or somehow think that your views of the world are invalid, it just doesn't match the other person's views and that's okay. :)

Keep marching ahead with your head held high with a positive attitude and you can't go wrong! Brighter days ARE coming because you're MAKING it happen! :)

Not Taking Spirituality So Seriously

Mainstream spirituality

 Making spirituality my own.

It's been a long time since I made a personal blog post. Mostly because I went into a deep hiatus after being "out there" for too long and other life happenings. Things have gotten so intense in my life that I had to choose to drop a lot of the tasks I was trying to do and focus on my core passions. It's something that I want to get into in another post but for now I just want to express my new feelings about spiritually and just being alive.

Through my hiatus a lot of big changes happened, and most of them were in myself. The way I view the world and it's relation to myself and my current experience in the world. A change in dreams and finally knowing what I really want out of my life and in myself. Those changes and many others even before this time have been showing me how dependent I was on spirituality. And how I hold too many other people's words to heart and not on my own.

For the longest time I felt that being "positive" in all its aspects (loving, forgiving, gratefulness) meant trying to be this saint like figure, something that I wanted to be. But time and time again I would find life would takes it's toll and I would be anything but those things. Then I would feel bad because I was being "negative" and somehow I would be cut off from the universe's graces. I'm finding out that a lot of that thinking came from all the books and constant dedication to my spiritual beliefs. That positive things equaled to abundance and a great life and negative things equaled lack and etc. I believed this because everyone else were saying it, and me trying to follow the best possible route for my life, I wanted to adopt that thinking too.

The more days go by now, the more I see and feel myself separating from what I've been learning for years and into my own simple be(ing)lief system. Something that isn't what "everyone else" says, but one simply about me, being me in this world. I'm tired of hearing that positivity equals good and negativity equals bad in ALL aspects. I'm sick of hearing how if you are loving, forgiving and saint like you'll get the universe's graces. And if you are the opposite you are out of that loop.

My thing is, we should be allow to be human. And quite frankly, everyone isn't happy or loving or forgiving all the time, and that should be more than okay. I'm sick of hearing the guru's boast about their life being great because they were positive (in the broadest sense mind you) and if you don't have what you want, you are doing something wrong. I'm not against being positive, and I'm surly not against improving yourself and your life but I am against trying to be this god like figure because that's the spiritual community's "ideal" in a way.

Despite all the great and powerful experiences, words and concepts I've been shown about who I am, I'm starting to feel more comfortable being "human" (it changes but generally speaking). I'm feeling more comfortable having rough emotions, having to struggle sometimes, having to risk things, having to be open to others and being hurt, not wanting to forgive another, feeling disgusted with people and things, and just the way life is sometimes.

I feel that, I've kept myself from feeling strong hurtful emotions because I felt like I had to love everything to be this "shining beacon" of light. That top of the mountain that all spiritual people want to go on and spend tons of time and money on to get there. I want to be able to be my super self (embodiment of my higher self) but I think I've been trying to cut too much out and mold myself into something that the "collective" wants, and not so much my own.

I don't like children and babies, I never did, I never want to have any. The universe having been slapping me with "mother" and "children" like signs for over a year now. And in that time I felt like I had to like babies and children to be whatever the universe is trying to convey to me. But after some failed attempts to like them I just have to shout to the world at large that despite my beliefs and what I want to be, I DO NOT LIKE CHILDREN OR BABIES. And gosh it felt good when I got clear with myself about my feelings. It got even better when I told myself and the world that I don't have to be or do anything because I'm spiritual. I can be whoever I wish, and do whatever I wish and still be a great person. I don't have to be "all-loving", I don't have to forgive everyone on a drop of a dime and I don't have to be compassionate in the face of something I completely opposite. And I surely don't have to force myself to like anything to be in the universe's graces or to be considered an "authentic" spiritual person to others. It's all self opposed stuff that I've been reading about for as long as I've been in the metaphysical (which was for 10 plus years). I'm stepping out of the books, and other people's ideas to know that who I am "now" is more than good enough today, right now. I don't have to do anything or be anything to be good enough, I am that right now, with all my flaws.

Yes, I want to improve upon myself just like anyone else, but I won't be so serious about it. I'm more willing to go through life's bumps as well as the emotional kind and be okay. I can feel needy, selfish, spoiled, angry, unforgiving and know that it's okay to FEEL those feelings because I'm human. Despite my spiritual nature inside and outside my body, I can be anything I choose and accept those things, and still be good enough for the world, myself and anyone I care for. It's not about feeding those bad emotions, but accepting them inside myself, and admitting that "I'm not so loving right now",  or "I really hate that I'm dealing with this." It really is okay, given that you're not being run by those emotions and are dealing with them constructively. And if you are still not feeling all loving, let that be okay. You're more than allowed to feel that way because we're human and no human being is perfect, or never had a negative emotion. We all had them at one point and we can get better. But don't strive for something mindlessly, or do it to be conveyed as a certain person, to other's or yourself. Because that will be the biggest challenge that you'll almost never have the guts to face. That part of you that is negative, hateful, unforgiving, hurt and only wants to express itself like every other part of you (as long as it is constructive of course).

Spend Time In Nature!

nature angel sunlight healing

I'm totally feeling the love today! After two plus weeks of pure dizziness and fuzzy mindedness I finally spent some time out in nature. 24 hours later I feel the best I've felt in weeks! It's crazy!

I'm homebody but since summer stared I've been a total shut in because of the heat! Spending more time on the computer and not going outside (besides going out with friends) totally took it's toll on me! Before now I was lethargic, slow and low energy. My creativity was zapped and I was seriously negative about everything! Asking Archangel Raphael about my health issues he gave me the "Sunlight" card two days ago, THAT ANGEL IS A GENUS. The divine ALWAYS tell me to go outside but I'm a hermit haha! But I see now the true importance of spending time outside and limiting my time on the computer.

I was so imbalanced sitting in front of the computer all day. And it only got worst when I didn't seek the sun. Going outside, hugging trees (I literally hugged some trees), connected with nature and just being in the moment gave my body a chance to do some natural healing and balancing! Even though I still felt like crap outside, by this morning I felt SO GOOD. And now I totally feel the love!

I feel like I can just explode in millions of hearts! I see my potential again and I just want to share everything I have! It just feels good. I can feel my energy radiating out!

I also learned a VERY important lesson about myself (and everyone else). I NEED the sun. I need to go out and spend time with nature often so I can stay in balance. Especially since I work on the computer often! I knew this before, but I simply forgot or didn't think it was the case. Every time I would start to feel off, I would head downtown all day so I was be all tired out when I got home. It worked every time, now I see I have to start doing that again so I can stay in the game!

The negative side effects of being in the house all day was really bad too this time, probably because I am getting more sensitive as the angels also said to me.

It's funny too because they say crystal children NEED sunlight. How I was effected by not doing that was similar to a mineral crystal would weaken by being used. Whatever frequency that crystal would emit, that frequency and it's effect would die down because it would also absorb the owners negative energy. It would be full of junk energy instead of it's own natural energy so of course the crystal would be drained! And a common way to charge crystals is to put it sun or moonlight! My natural upbeat-ness totally weakened in the face of my low energy just as a crystal would. And just being soaked in my own (and everyone else's in the household) negative juices would of course have it's effect on me, causing me to be negative too! It was time for me to release everything and let go!

Once I did, had fun, and got some much needed rest, my positivity came back and I feel better then ever! I feel grounded, loved and safe. Even in these turbulent energies, something I need desperately!

So please, if you are feeling slow, creatively zapped, hopeless and depressed while spending a lot of time on the computer it's time to spend time with mother nature! You'll love it and feel the effects sooner then you think!
